hi guys, im guikc from brazil
ive known ac for quite a while, 2 years i think, but since i barely played i dont know much about the game and havent got any friends in it. i dont even have a proper nickname, just thought bout this one right now
im not very good at gema but i always thought it was really cool and im happy to find this forum. i have some questions if you dont mind :p
-are you guys still active? i mean the clans, servers and etc
-whats the 1.0 vs 1.1 bragging about? what are the problems brought by the new version?
-i've recently made a 38 units jump after trying for some time, and i wonder if is there any record system with demos or a longjump map?

First, welcome in our gema community ^^
So, i'm TheKiller and i'm a 16 year-old french. I've know AC for 1 year or less, and gemas were the thing who force me to still play AC, but i was inactive from 1.1 release to december, because 1.1 sucks. Indeed, there are map restrictions on it, (for example, flags must be far from each-othher, so we have to remake the most of the gemas maps) and other things. Recently, i've decided to come back here...
So now, i think we are "semi-active", but we're playing gemas most of the days... So if you want to play gema, you've to choose :

• you can go on my server on 1.0.4, it's a modded server with some stuff (you can only be killed by your nade, there is a timer to know records...), but only people who play on 1.04 are us, so you'll be alone...
  
• you can go on HP's server on 1.1.0.4 (integrity.selfip.com:29773), not modded server, with killers and no lots of maps, but you'll not be alone...
  

For your 38 cubes jump, i think it's the max (maybe it's 39), but HP knows it better than me .

well i am sniper, 16 years old, and i know AC for about a year now, and i love to play gemas, they make me stick to AC, though i also play other games.
about 1.0 and 1.1...i've talked so much about this, i got tired of it, lets keep it on this: 1.1 sucks though we can still play a few gemas in 1.1, everyone is able to kill etc.
then for the 38 jump - in 1.0 its the farest ever made jump. in 1.1 things are diferent - the assault rifle recoil has increased, causing you to jump further, jumps of 40 cubes are possible, though i dont know if its possible to go further then that.
so yeah...thats about it

thank you for the warm greetings! well, i just found a link with ac 1.0 and i think i will download it then - the server looks pretty cool i were always wondering if there was a possibility to time the runs
yea about the timezone, there is no problem... its 3/4 hours difference, (GMT here changes in some period of the year) so i believe it wont be hard to see you in game.
